Get on your bike for...
National BIKE TO WORK DAY

The University of Manchester Bicycle Users' Group (UMBUG) is working with other institutions in the higher education precinct (MMU, RNCM, MRI/CMFT/NHS) to encourage people to cycle to work by offering guided routes from across the region, by offering training and by offering the free loan of bikes!

but, in summary:
- join one of our rides led by experienced cyclists along quieter routes chosen to be suitable for all experiences
- come along to University Place, 8:30-11am (all welcome - whether on a guided route or not)
- free cycle security
- free cycle tune-ups
- free refreshments
- free prizes
Please come along and please encourage your colleagues to cycle along too!

And if you could send an encouraging email to your local email lists that would be ace too!
This is part of a city wide initiative and non-HEP staff/students are encouraged to attend the Council event in the Peace Gardens until 2:30pm.
