We were asked to advise Heads of Schools on their position in the industrial action. This position is exactly as that of any other colleague. If you are not a member of the AUT then you are not legally in the action. We do appreciate support though and urge you to join the AUT. (Very kindly UCEA are running our recruitment campaign for us.)
If however, you are a member of the AUT then you should abide by the action short of strike, and in particular the boycott of assessment related activities. As a member of the AUT you should not work to put into place alternative assessment arrangements.
